Feed Settings control what posts appear in your feed and how they're organized. Nothing gets posted without your approval - these settings only control what you see.

Feed Settings vary by campaign type:

  • Prospects campaigns: Full control over indirect engagement, topic filtering, touchpoint frequency, post limits, and organization

  • Topics campaigns: Simplified settings focused on post age and categories

How to access Feed Settings

You can configure Feed Settings in two places:

  1. From the Post feed: Click "Settings and filtering" at the top of the feed

  2. From Campaign settings: Go to Campaign β†’ Feed settings tab

Changes take effect immediately in your feed.

Feed Settings for Prospects campaigns

Prospects campaigns have comprehensive Feed Settings to control what you see and how posts are organized.

Indirect engagement

Reach prospects who don't post regularly by commenting on posts from people they follow and engage with.

How it works:

  • Extrovert tracks who your prospects engage with

  • Shows you posts from people they interacted with recently

  • Your comments appear in your prospect's feed

  • If you're connected, your comments appear first and unfolded

Show direct posts first: When prospects do post, their content appears before indirect posts

Post age filter

Control how recent posts should be. Choose from 24 hours to 4 weeks.

  • 24h-2 days: Fresh content, best for visibility campaigns

  • 1+ weeks: Great for nurturing - never too late to engage

☝️ Pro tip: Older posts (1+ weeks) are perfect for prospect warm-up. People appreciate thoughtful engagement regardless of post age.

Hide post categories

Select categories to remove from your feed:

  • Extra sensitive

  • Politics

  • Personal life

  • Offline events

  • Social issues and charity

  • Self promotion

  • Job ads

  • Lead magnets

  • Company news or achievements

  • Personal or blog achievements

  • Comment & get 1

  • Other topics

☝️ Pro tip: Hide "Extra sensitive", "Politics", and "Self promotion" to focus on engagement-worthy content.

AI topic filtering

Show only posts matching your expertise topics. AI reads post content (not just keywords) and matches it against your defined topics.

Two modes:

  • Show all posts: Best for prospect touchpoints and relationship building

  • Show only posts matching my topics: Best for creator engagement when targeting your specific niche

☝️ Pro tip: Use topic filtering for visibility campaigns with thought leaders. Turn it off for direct prospect warm-up campaigns where you want to see all their posts.

Touchpoint frequency

Control how often you see posts from the same prospect. After you comment on someone's post, their future posts will be hidden for your selected period, ensuring you engage with everyone evenly.

Options: 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 1 month, 2 months

Example: Set to 3 weeks (bi-weekly to 3 weeks). After commenting on someone's post, you won't see their posts again for 21 days, ensuring steady nurturing without overwhelming prospects.

Maximum posts per person

Limits how many posts from each person appear in your feed. Prevents heavy posters from taking over.

Options: No limit, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

☝️ Pro tip: Set to 2 posts per person when warming up new prospect batches to efficiently engage with everyone.

How should posts be organized?

Choose how posts are sorted in your feed:

  • Show newest posts first: Standard chronological feed - see fresh content as it appears

  • Group posts by person: Process prospects one at a time - ideal for batch warm-up before outreach

☝️ Pro tip: Use "Group by person" with "2 posts per person" for systematic prospect warm-up. You'll see 2 posts from Person A, then 2 from Person B, etc.

One-time warm-up mode

Hide prospects from your feed after initial comments to proceed with outreach.

Hide after how many comments? 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6

Example: Set to "Hide after 4 comments". After leaving 4 comments on a prospect's posts, they'll be hidden from this campaign feed.

☝️ Pro tip: Use webhooks to automatically push warmed prospects to your sequencing tool after reaching the comment threshold.

Natural comment spacing

When you approve multiple comments for one person, space them out over time. Creates several touchpoints instead of one and makes engagement feel natural.

Delay between comments: 1 day, 2 days, or 3 days

Feed Settings for Topics campaigns

Topics campaigns have simplified Feed Settings focused on finding relevant discussions across LinkedIn.

Post age filter

Control how recent posts should be. Choose from 24 hours to 4 weeks.

☝️ Pro tip: For Topics campaigns focused on visibility, use shorter timeframes (24h-2 days) to join fresh discussions when engagement is highest.

Hide post categories

Same categories as Prospects campaigns. Remove irrelevant content types from your topic-based feed.

Filtering options on the feed page

In addition to Feed Settings, you can use dropdown filters at the top of your feed to quickly switch between campaigns, lists, and topics.

Campaign selector

Switch between different campaigns you've created. Each campaign has its own Feed Settings, context, and style.

Prospect list selector (Prospects campaigns)

For Prospects campaigns, choose which prospect list to view:

  • View all prospects in the campaign

  • Focus on a specific list (e.g., "Enterprise", "Hot leads", "Customers")

Topics selector (Topics campaigns)

For Topics campaigns, filter by specific topics:

  • View all topics you're monitoring

  • Focus on a specific topic (e.g., "Sales automation", "LinkedIn strategy")

Feed Settings for common workflows

Configure Feed Settings differently for each campaign based on your goal. Here are recommended settings for common use cases:

Warming up cold prospects

Feed Settings:

  • Maximum posts per person: 2

  • How should posts be organized: Group posts by person

  • One-time warm-up mode: Hide after 3 comments

  • Post age filter: 4 weeks (never too late to engage)

  • Natural comment spacing: 1 day

Why it works: Systematically warm up prospects before outreach. You'll see 2 posts from each prospect, grouped by person. After 3 comments, they're hidden from this feed. Push them to your sequencer via webhooks to start outreach.

Pipeline and customer nurturing

Feed Settings:

  • Touchpoint frequency: 1 week

  • Maximum posts per person: 1

  • Post age filter: 1 week

  • Indirect engagement: Enabled (many busy executives don't post regularly)

Why it works: Maintain consistent weekly touchpoints with active deals and customers. After commenting on someone's post, you won't see them again for 1 week, ensuring steady engagement without overwhelming.

Engaging with thought leaders for visibility

Feed Settings (Prospects campaign):

  • AI topic filtering: Show only posts matching my topics

  • Post age filter: 2 days (engage while discussions are fresh)

  • Hide post categories: Self promotion, Lead magnets

  • Touchpoint frequency: 3 days

Why it works: Focus only on posts matching your expertise from thought leaders. Your expert comments appear to their audience when discussions are most active.

Joining relevant discussions across LinkedIn

Feed Settings (Topics campaign):

  • Post age filter: 2 days

  • Hide post categories: Politics, Extra sensitive

Topics to monitor: Select 3-5 highly relevant topics in Settings β†’ Topics to monitor

Why it works: Topics campaigns scan all of LinkedIn for discussions matching your expertise. Join conversations wherever they happen and get discovered by your ICP.

Building creator support networks

Feed Settings:

  • Touchpoint frequency: Every 3 days

  • Post age filter: 3 days

  • Maximum posts per person: 1

  • How should posts be organized: Show newest posts first

Why it works: Build mutual relationships where you support each other's content. Regular touchpoints with friendly creators create better reach for everyone.

Create different campaigns for each workflow with their own optimized Feed Settings. Switch between campaigns using the campaign selector at the top of your feed.
