Bulk approve lets you approve a batch of comments in one go instead of opening each card. You say how many, and Extrovert approves the most relevant comments waiting in the feed you have open.
Where to find it
The Bulk approve button sits at the top of the post feed, on the Need approval tab only. It is there in Main Feed and inside a single campaign. The other tabs do not have it, because there is nothing left to approve there.
What it approves
It works on the whole feed you have open, not on the three posts in front of you:
In Main Feed, the comments come from every campaign of that account you are allowed to edit. Campaigns that are stopped or set to Auto are left out, because they have nothing waiting for you.
In a campaign, the comments come from the whole campaign. If you narrowed the feed to one prospect list or one topic, that narrowing is ignored.
"Most relevant" means the same order the feed itself uses. Inside a campaign that is the Feed sorting strategy. In Main Feed it is that plus the priority you gave each campaign. Bulk approve takes the top of that order at the moment you confirm, worked out fresh, so it does not depend on which page you were looking at. That is also why it can approve comments on posts you have not scrolled to yet.
Some cards in your feed already have a draft written. Others show only the post, with the draft still to come. Bulk approve accepts both. A card with a draft is queued to publish as it is. A card without one has its draft written first and then publishes without you reading it. If you want to read every comment before it goes out, approve one at a time instead.
How to use it
Open Post feed on the Need approval tab, in Main Feed or in the campaign you want.
Click Bulk approve.
Set How many comments to approve. The number starts at whatever is left of your daily comment target, or at 10 once the target is reached. You can enter any whole number from 1 to 100.
Click Approve.
The window stays open while the comments are approved and then shows the result. Closing it early does not cancel anything. The approval finishes in the background, and the feed reloads when it is done.
What the result means
The result counts what actually happened:
N comments approved is the number that went through. They are in Pending now and will publish on schedule.
Approved X of Y means fewer went through than you asked for. The lines under it say why.
N were no longer available means those comments had been dealt with in the meantime, for example approved or skipped by a teammate, or the feed simply held fewer approvable comments than you asked for. This is not an error.
N failed means those comments could not be approved. They stay in Need approval, so you can try them again.
Comments that were approved stay approved even if others in the same batch failed. Nothing is rolled back.
If the request itself fails, you get a message that nothing was approved. If your connection drops before the answer arrives, you get a warning instead, because some comments may have gone through. Check Pending before you run it again.
What happens next
Approved comments join the normal queue. They publish inside your daily limit and working hours, with the usual gap between comments, so a large batch clears over a day or more. See why approved comments take a while to post. You can still cancel any of them from Pending.
Each approved comment adds one to the daily comment target counter in Main Feed, the same as approving by hand. The one exception is a draft you had set to react only. It publishes the reaction and is not counted as a comment.
Bulk approve is also available through the AI assistant connection and the API, so you can ask your assistant to approve the ten most relevant comments in your Main Feed.
