Why are my approved comments taking a while to post?

Approved comments post in batches within your daily limit and working hours, so a large batch clears over several days.

Written by Denis Bauer

If you approved a lot of comments and they are posting gradually instead of all at once, that is expected. Here is why.

Comments post within your daily limit

To keep your account safe, Extrovert only posts a set number of comments per day. When you approve more than that, the rest wait in line and go out over the following days. Nothing is stuck, the queue is just draining at a safe pace.

The limit is per account, across all campaigns

Your daily comment limit applies to the whole account, not to each campaign separately. So if one account runs several campaigns, all of their approved comments share the same daily budget. That is why a single campaign can look slow while the account is busy posting for others.

Working hours also matter

Comments only send during the working hours you set. If your working hours are short, fewer comments go out each day. You can widen them in Settings → Working hours.

Want them to post faster?

You can raise your daily comment limit in Settings → Daily limits. Keep it in a safe range, since the whole point of the limit is to protect your account. There is a hard cap of 100 comments per day per account, which we recommend staying well under.

How to check

Open the campaign and compare how many comments posted today with how many are still pending. If comments are posting each day, everything is working, and the rest will follow as the daily limit allows.
