Extrovert has a built-in AI assistant that helps you set up your account and get more out of the product. You'll find it as Ask Extrovert AI in the left menu:
Open it and tell it what you want to do, in your own words.
What it can do
The assistant doesn't just answer questions, it can make the changes for you, with your go-ahead. It can:
Review what you already have and suggest improvements, for example look over your comment instructions and tell you what to change
Create, start, stop, duplicate, share, or transfer campaigns, and adjust their topics and settings
Create and edit your voices - background, comment and DM tone, approved examples, talking points, selling points, and DM templates
Add, move, and remove prospects, clean out inactive ones, and organise prospect lists
Set up the topics you monitor
Pull in your recent posts, comments, and profile to work from, and search the web for details
It works within your account, so if you manage teammates' accounts, it can set those up too.
What it doesn't do is work through your daily queue. It can't approve comments or send DMs - you do that yourself in the post feed and on the DMs page. If you want an AI that can also handle those, connect your own through MCP.
Setting up your account with it
New to Extrovert? The assistant is the fastest way to get running. Tell it your goal, like growing your audience or warming up prospects, and it will build the campaign and the voice with you step by step. You can pick Use Extrovert Assistant during setup, or open Ask Extrovert AI any time later.
Filling in a voice with it
This is where the assistant saves the most time, because a voice is the part people leave half-empty. You can start it from two places:
In Settings → Voice library, click Add voice and choose Build it with the Extrovert assistant.
Inside a voice you already have, on any of the three tabs, use the Set up with AI card and click Set up with assistant.
It opens in the side panel, pulls in your recent LinkedIn activity, and writes the section with you. Starting from a tab keeps it focused on that tab, so you can fill just the DMs side without touching the rest. It asks before saving anything, and you can edit afterwards.
If voices are new to you, How voices work covers the library and what a voice contains.
For what makes a voice strong, see How to improve comment and DM draft quality.
Daily limit, or use your own AI
The AI Assistant is available on every plan. The built-in assistant has a daily usage limit that resets each day. If you hit it, you can wait for the reset, or connect your own AI instead. Connecting Claude or ChatGPT lets you run the same setup with no daily limit, using the context your AI already has about you. See Connect Extrovert to an AI assistant to set that up. Both options do the same job, so pick whichever fits.
It's a setup assistant, not support
The assistant helps you use and configure Extrovert. It isn't customer support and can't handle billing or account issues. For those, reach the team from the chat in the app.
