Using the Extrovert AI Assistant

What the built-in Ask AI assistant is, what it can do for you, and how it works with your daily limit or your own AI.

Written by Denis Bauer

Extrovert has a built-in AI assistant that helps you set up your account and get more out of the product. You'll find it as Ask Extrovert AI in the left menu:

Open it and tell it what you want to do, in your own words.

What it can do

The assistant doesn't just answer questions, it can make the changes for you, with your go-ahead. It can:

  • Create, start, stop, duplicate, share, or transfer campaigns, and adjust their topics and settings

  • Build and edit your Context, Style, Insights, DM Playbook, and comment examples

  • Add, move, and remove prospects, clean out inactive ones, and organise prospect lists

  • Set up the topics you monitor

  • Pull in your recent posts, comments, and profile to work from, and search the web for details

It works within your account, so if you manage teammates' accounts, it can set those up too.

Setting up your account with it

New to Extrovert? The assistant is the fastest way to get running. Tell it your goal, like growing your audience or warming up prospects, and it will build the campaign, Context, and Style with you step by step. You can pick Use Extrovert Assistant during setup, or open Ask Extrovert AI any time later.

For the Context and Style side specifically, it's the quickest way to fill gaps. It can look at your setup, tell you what's missing, and write the sections with you. For what makes Context and Style strong, see How to improve comment and DM draft quality.

Daily limit, or use your own AI

The AI Assistant is available on every plan. The built-in assistant has a daily usage limit that resets each day. If you hit it, you can wait for the reset, or connect your own AI instead. Connecting Claude or ChatGPT lets you run the same setup with no daily limit, using the context your AI already has about you. See Connect Extrovert to an AI assistant to set that up. Both options do the same job, so pick whichever fits.

It's a setup assistant, not support

The assistant helps you use and configure Extrovert. It isn't customer support and can't handle billing or account issues. For those, reach the team from the chat in the app.
