Credits are a balance your whole team shares. They pay for finding new people: Lead Finder and Intent Signals. Nothing else uses them. Comments, DMs, campaigns and AI drafts are part of the plan and never touch the balance.
Where: Settings, then Credits. Every team member can open the page and see the balance.
Credits and plan limits are two different things. Your plan limits say how many prospects and topics the team can track. Credits pay for the act of finding people. Buying credits does not raise your prospect limit, and adding prospects to your limit does not give you credits. See how prospect limits work.
What credits pay for
Lead Finder costs 1 credit for every prospect it processes for you. Searching and looking at the preview is free. You pay when you add people to a campaign, and you pay for the batch that was processed, not only for the people who ended up in your list. Someone who was already in your prospects, an invalid profile or a person who did not fit your remaining limit still counts.
Intent Signals charges for every prospect a signals campaign finds who passes your filters. People who do not match your filters are free. The price depends on the type of signal:
Specific LinkedIn posts, Posts by people and Posts by company pages: 25 credits per prospect
Posts by keyword: 50 credits per prospect
Competitor team engagement: 100 credits per prospect
Competitor sales connections and Competitor customer success connections: 250 credits per prospect
Every signals campaign has a daily prospect limit, and the form shows it as a maximum spend per day so you can see the cost before you launch.
Credits that come with your plan
Each paid seat adds 300 credits a month to the team balance. A seat that is paid for but not occupied still adds its credits. With 4 seats the team gets 1,200 credits a month.
On a monthly plan the credits arrive with each renewal. On an annual plan they still arrive every month, on the same day of the month. The Credits page shows the next date and the amount.
Included credits do not carry over. Whatever is left when the next allocation arrives is replaced, not added. If you add a seat in the middle of a period, it brings a proportional share of its 300 for the days that remain.
On a trial the workspace gets 300 credits once, no matter how many people are on the team, and they are not refilled. The archived Light plan has no credits at all.
Buying more
There are two one-time packs: 2,000 credits for $29 and 10,000 credits for $99. You can take several packs in one purchase, for example three packs of 10,000. There are no volume discounts and no annual discount on packs.
Open Settings, then Credits, and press Buy additional credits.
Choose a package and the quantity. The window shows the credits you are adding, your balance before and after, and the total charge before tax.
Press Confirm purchase. Your saved billing method is charged right away, and the credits appear in the balance as soon as the payment is confirmed. There is no separate checkout page.
Tax is added to the amount shown. If your subscription is billed in a currency other than US dollars, the charge is converted at your payment provider's rate at the time of payment.
Purchased credits behave differently from included ones. They stay in your balance for as long as the plan is active, month after month. The team spends included credits first and purchased credits after that. When the paid plan ends, everything that is left, purchased or included, is removed. That is also why buying credits while a cancellation is scheduled shows a warning with the exact date.
If the card is declined, nothing is charged and no credits are added. Update the payment method in the billing portal and try again. If the window says the payment is being checked, wait: the credits appear once the payment is confirmed, and you do not need to buy again.
Who can buy credits
A team admin who can manage the plan, on an active Extrovert subscription.
Other team members see the balance but not the purchase button. When they run out, the page tells them to ask the team admin.
On a trial you cannot buy credits. The page offers Upgrade plan instead.
While a payment on your subscription is outstanding, buying is paused until you fix the payment method.
Reading the Credits page
Three cards at the top:
Team balance is what the team can spend right now.
Included with seats shows how much of this month's allocation is left, for example 850 of 1,200, and when it refills.
Purchased is the balance from packs.
Below the cards, an admin sees Balance activity: every change to the balance, newest first, with the person it belongs to, the change and the balance after it. The rows are named by what happened: Monthly credits, Seat added, Credits purchased, People found with the signal type, Prospect import for Lead Finder, Adjustment for changes made by support, and Unused seat credits removed at the end of a period.
A team member who is not an admin sees Your credit usage instead: only the credits spent by their own actions, with the date, the action and the number of people it covered.
Admins also get a View plan limits link on this page, which opens the Plan page with the prospect and topic limits.
When the balance runs out
All signals campaigns in the workspace pause and show Out of credits. They do not stop for good. As soon as credits are added, by the monthly allocation or a purchase, every campaign that was paused this way starts again on its own. A campaign you paused yourself stays paused.
Lead Finder keeps working for search, but the button to add prospects is disabled until there are credits to cover them.
The balance can dip slightly below zero. A signals campaign may deliver a few more people in the moments before it pauses, and those people are still charged because they are already in your Suggested prospects. The next allocation or purchase covers the gap first.
