Both. Extrovert picks up recent posts, not only the ones published in the last few hours. How far back it goes is set per campaign by Post age limit in the Commenting tab. The default is 28 days and the most you can set is 30.
Posts older than 30 days leave the feed on their own, so 30 days is the widest window any campaign can work with.
What posts are included
Posts inside your Post age limit, so 28 days back unless you changed it
Both brand new posts and older ones you haven't seen
Posts you haven't commented on yet
All posts that match your filters and topic monitoring
Why older posts are valuable
For prospect relationships: Commenting on 1-2 week old posts works great because prospects still get notified and appreciate thoughtful engagement on their content, regardless of when they posted it.
For influencer visibility: Stick to newer posts (24-48 hours) where most audience engagement happens early and your comment gets maximum exposure.
Getting the latest posts
Extrovert checks for new posts every 24 hours on its own. You can run an extra check yourself once an hour: open the three-dot menu (•••) above the feed and choose Check for new posts.
The order you see posts in is set per campaign by Feed sorting strategy in the Commenting tab. There are three choices:
Newest first, the default. Freshest posts come up first.
Finish warm-up first, so prospects who still need comments to finish warming up come first. This one stays greyed out until warm-up is turned on in the Outreach tab with a comment target.
Spread evenly, which works through your prospects evenly instead of following post dates.
