Extrovert automatically checks for new posts once every 24 hours for each prospect to minimize load on your LinkedIn account and maintain security. We space out these checks intelligently throughout the day with random intervals to keep activity human-like.
Manual post refresh
If you need to update posts immediately for specific prospects, you can trigger an on-demand check from several locations:
From the Post feed - Use the "Check for new posts" option in the three dots menu for individual prospects
From Campaign β Prospect list page - Select "Check for new posts" from the three dots menu in any campaign
From the main Prospects page - Select multiple prospects and choose "Check for new posts" from the bulk actions
Manual checks typically take 5 minutes to 1-2 hours, depending on how many prospects are in the batch. For account safety, avoid triggering manual checks too frequently for large numbers of prospects.
Check when posts were last fetched
You can see when we last checked for posts from your prospects in two places:
Prospects page - The "Last check" column shows when we last fetched posts from each prospect. You can sort by this column to see which prospects were checked most recently
Post feed - Hover over any post date to see a tooltip showing when we last checked that prospect for new posts
How we keep post fetching safe
Our post fetching process is designed with your account safety in mind:
We don't visit individual LinkedIn profiles, so prospects are never notified that you viewed their profile
We use LinkedIn's search functionality instead, batching 20-25 prospects together per search
This means checking 1000 prospects only requires about 50 search queries per day, spread throughout 24 hours
All checks use random intervals to maintain natural, human-like activity patterns
