Don't worry! Extrovert automatically prevents double comments by checking before posting, even if you commented manually on LinkedIn.
Automatic protection when commenting
Here's what happens when you try to comment through Extrovert on a post you've already commented on:
You click to comment on a post in Extrovert
Extrovert checks the post one final time before sending
If you've already commented, it stops and shows an error
The post moves to your error tab, so no duplicate comment is sent
Why you sometimes might see posts you've already commented on
You might notice posts in your Extrovert feed that you've already commented on manually. This is normal and happens because:
Extrovert fetched the post before you commented manually on LinkedIn
The system doesn't know about your manual comment, because it already saved the post
If you approve the comment, it will not be posted because of the automatic protection
Feel confident importing existing prospects, Extrovert will never let you accidentally double comment, even if the post appears in your feed.
If you want fewer comments on the same person
The check above stops one post getting two comments from you. If what you want is to comment on the same person less often, turn on Commenting pace per prospect in the campaign's Commenting tab. After you comment on someone, their other posts stay out of your feed for the number of days you set. The range is 1 to 60 days and the default is 3.
It is off until you turn it on, so by default you can see several posts from the same person. For this setting and the rest of the tab, see Commenting settings: which posts appear and in what order.
