It is possible to connect your LinkedIn account to Extrovert even if you created it using your Google or Apple ID. To do so, you have to create a password for your LinkedIn account.

When a LinkedIn account is created with Google, a LinkedIn password is not being generated (created) since you access your LinkedIn account through Google.

To create your password:

  1. Login to your LinkedIn account using Google, by clicking on the Continue with Google button on LinkedIn's Sign-in page

  2. Click on your profile picture and select Settings and Privacy:

  3. In the Settings and Privacy section, click on the Sign in & security option

  4. Select the Email addresses option

  5. Click on the Add email address button

  6. Once it's done, a 6-digit code will be sent to your LinkedIn email address. Enter it and click on the Submit button

  7. Click on the Create password button

  8. A new page will open up where you'll have to enter your LinkedIn email address so the password reset link can be sent there. Once the email is entered, click Next

  9. In the next step, LinkedIn might ask you to do a quick security check to verify the account. Click on the Verify button and complete the verification

  10. Once the verification is completed, you will receive a 6-digit code to your LinkedIn email address. Please enter it on LinkedIn and click Submit

  11. Enter your new LinkedIn password and click Submit

  12. Now the steps to create a LinkedIn password are completed!

13. You can use your email and password to connect to Extrovert
